Day 1

Pakse - Bolaven Plateau

This morning, you’ll be transferred by private car from Pakse to the Bolaven Plateau, travelling past tiny villages, rural temples and farmland. The well-paved road will give way to a sandy trail as you near your destination. You’ll stay in a secluded resort in the dense rainforest, close to waterfalls. In the afternoon, you can soak up the incredible surroundings from your private veranda or trek through the natural wilderness.

Day 2

Bolaven Plateau

Today is completely free for you to enjoy the rainforest at your own pace. The climate on the plateau is pleasantly cool and the landscape is unbelievably green. The villages on the plateau are accessible only via sand trails, which has preserved their secluded ways. Many minorities live here, including the Laven, Katu and the Alak people. Your lodge is located in lush jungle surroundings and the restaurant serves up some tasty dishes.

“Laos is a real winner for anyone looking for a mix of culture, nature and tasty cuisine. Visiting the falls outside Luang Prabang is my favourite excursion - it’s a ‘must do’ experience and my customers highly recommend it too!”
