This afternoon is yours, you can go on an exploratory hike in the jungle around the camp or paddle down the river in a kayak before being served a traditional Cambodian dinner in the evening.
Into the jungle
After an early breakfast, you will be picked up by a ranger at the camp, together with your guide you’ll roam through the dense jungle and learn how the forest area is protected from poachers. Don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for wildlife! After lunch, you’ll return to camp by kayak, let yourself drift down the river spotting monkeys and birds that live in the treetops. The afternoon is yours to relax and if you fancy take a dip in the river.
If you’re an early riser and fancy a little more exploring before your departure, set off by boat to discover the nature along the course of the river. Grab some binoculars and a camera and look out for the animals enroute. On your return to the camp, you’ll have one last breakfast in the jungle before saying your farewells. With the boat, you’ll leave the Cardamom tented camp and return to Trapeang Rung, from here you’ll head onto your next exciting adventure.
