Throughout our bite-sized trips we try to offer meaningful experiences that you’ll remember long after your return home. By offering you the opportunity to really interact with local communities, this helps you to better understand the culture and way of life. You can receive a ‘Namaste!’ with our homestay trip in Panauti as you help out with the evening meal in a local community based tourism project.
Where you stay is just as much a part of the experience of travelling as everything else. We think it’s important that you stay somewhere that reflects the true character of the area you’re in whether it’s a trekking lodge or historic Nepali home. That’s why we offer small-scale, authentic accommodation with bags of local character.
Our Local Nepal Project
We select local projects for each destination we sell, and give you the option to make a small donation to these projects when you book your trip. These are usually small-scale projects benefiting schools, clinics or local wildlife. In Nepal we are proud to support the International Porter Protection Group. They ensure the well-being of the local guides and porters trekking through the Himalayas, for example by paying for their medical care and ensuring the upkeep of a rescue post.
Our Nepal Travel Specialists
We love Nepal and so do our staff. From our product specialist to our managing director we’ve breathed in that fresh Himialyan air and tasted those delicious thalis. Nepal may be a small country, but it’s full of diverse, authentic experiences that we just can’t wait to share with you.
Our Local Partner in Nepal
In Nepal we work closely with a Nepalese partner whose knowledge of the country is unparalleled. Our product manager is in regular contact with our partner and we’re constantly working together to find interesting, meaningful travel experiences. We also use local Nepalese guides, drivers and porters who know their country inside out. Got a last minute question on the ground? No problem, they can help.
