Arrival in Delhi
After your international flight, you’ll arrive in the heart of India, Delhi. Our driver will collect you from the airport and transfer you to your hotel in the Karol Bagh area. You can freshen up at your hotel and then head out to visit the local area, either by foot or by utilising the local metro station.
Havelis and Camel Carts
Leave the tourist trail behind, exploring dust-swirled desert towns and sleeping in traditional clay huts. It’s an authentic way to experience life in one of India’s most captivating and remote desert regions. The Shekhawati is home to a cluster of beautifully ornate haveli houses complete with bright mosaics, colourful murals and shady courtyards.
Jaipur - City Tour & Amber Fort Visit
It’s then time to take in some history and marvel at some magnificent buildings with a trip to the Rajasthani capital, Jaipur. When you arrive you’ll check into our family-run boutique hotel. The next day you’ll take a guided tour of this remarkable city, visiting the City Palace, the Observatory and the fairy-tale Palace of the Winds (Hawa Mahal). In the afternoon, you’ll visit Amber Fort before heading back to central Jaipur.
Sunrise at the Taj Mahal
Visit mystical monkey temples and ghost cities en route to sunrise at the Taj Mahal. A real wonder of the world, it’s a building that will take your breath away. India’s Golden Triangle is the stuff of legend, with the ethereal Taj Mahal at its pinnacle. This trip will take you from the Pink City of Jaipur to Agra, where you’ll watch dawn break over the Taj Mahal.
Delhi - Tour of Old Delhi by Metro & Rickshaw
You’ll have two nights in Delhi and after a good night’s sleep you’ll visit the sights of Old Delhi alongside your English speaking guide. You’ll travel like the locals, taking the metro, an auto-rickshaw and a cycle-rickshaw. This way, you’ll really get to know the real Delhi. First stop is the mighty Jama Masjid Mosque which you’ll get to by metro. Next, you’ll walk and cycle-rickshaw through the narrow streets and past the shops of Chandni Chowk, the heart of the Old Town. On the edge of the Old Town, you’ll see the Red Fort, before taking an auto-rickshaw to Connaught Place, where your tour ends.
