Throughout our bite-sized trips we try to offer meaningful experiences that you’ll remember long after your return home. For example during our Warm Welcomes and the Mighty Dzong module you’ll spend the second night in a local family owned homestay. Not only does this give you a completely unique experience of Bhutanese life, but you’ll also contribute towards the lives of the local people in this rarely visited rural area.
When choosing our accommodation options in Bhutan we look for small-scale, locally owned properties full of local character. We think it’s important that where you lay your head is just as authentic as everything else you’ll experience with us in Bhutan. From family home stays to cosy wooden lodges, take a look at our accommodation options.
Meet our Bhutan Travel Specialists
Our travel specialists know and love all things Bhutan. They’ve eaten the food, slept in the beds and had some fantastic and memorable experiences along the way. Find out more about their travels and tips for getting the most out of your time in Bhutan.
Our Local Partners
We work with a local partner in Bhutan who cares just as much about meaningful travel as we do. Our Product Manager frequently discusses responsible travel and sustainability with our Bhutanese partners and we’re both constantly looking for ways to improve. We also use local Bhutanese guides and drivers for all of our excursions, so you’ll have the advantage of your guide’s local knowledge; you can even ask them where their favourite restaurants are!
