Arrival in Kruger National Park
Today, you’ll wake up early and make your way to Kruger, as the animals are most active before the heat of the day sets in. You’ll stay in a central Kruger Rest Camp; safely shut off from the wildlife, so you can sleep in peace! Your traditional rondavel (round hut with a thatched roof) has an area for a ‘braai’ (BBQ) and basic ensuite facilities. There’s a bar, a restaurant and a corner shop, so you should find everything you need close at hand.
National Park - Game Drive
Today, you’ll set off on a private Kruger game drive, taking you deep into the African bush. You’ll be guided by professional trackers, so there’s a good chance of seeing lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards and rhinos. Kruger is home to wild dogs and hyenas, as well as 350 different species of birds, so keep your eyes peeled at all times! During your stay, you can head off on a self-drive safari of your own or book a game walk.
Departure from Kruger National Park
After breakfast, it’s time to wave goodbye to the sounds of the Kruger Bush. You’ll pack up your things, check out of your camp and hop into your hire car ready to journey onwards to your next destination. If you’d like to spend more time here though, just let us know, we can easily extend your stay.
