Our travel specialists have all travelled extensively within their destinations and they’re encouraged to share their own experiences and enthusiasm with clients.
Rickshaw Travel Specialists are more than sales consultants – they’re entrepreneurs for their own ‘shop’. Travel Specialists are responsible for keeping their websites up to date and looking as good as possible. They also are actively involved in the promotion of their own destinations website. We actively encourage our staff to travel to the countries they sell, or that they would like to sell. We make this possible with a generous staff travel allowance, which is part of a competitive salary package.

Social Media and Creative Content Intern
Love travel? Keen to share your experiences and inspire others? Want to gain some valuable experience in a busy and vibrant marketing department? Then our social media and creative content work experience placement might be for you.
Rickshaw Travel is a small (but growing) travel company born from the idea that there are very few independent travel options available. We are an online company based in Hove and run sixteen destination websites that the marketing team is responsible for promoting, via social media platforms and our various blogs.
We are looking for an intern to contribute to our content development, keep a keen eye on what’s what in social media, and add a fresh and enthusiastic presence to our small marketing team
You will be a confident and self-motivated writer, with a knack for turning simple travel tales into informative and exciting posts for our customers.
The ideal candidate will:
- Love travel, and have travelled to at least two of the destinations we sell.
- Be self-motivated and eager to learn
- Have a high standard of written English
- Have an interest in social media, digital marketing and blogging
- Have an enthusiastic approach to creating engaging content
- Be a team player
We will be running 2-3 week internships over the summer (Jun-Aug). These will be unpaid, but we will provide travel expenses of £5 per day and a free lunch from our well-stocked office kitchen. We’ll also make sure to take you out for a couple of beers to get to know the team…
