Day 1 – Arrival in Buenos Aires
When you arrive in Buenos Aires, you’ll be greeted in the arrivals hall and transferred directly to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the historic heart of Buenos Aires. Take a stroll across Plaza de Mayo with its pink-coloured government building, the Casa Rosada, where Eva Peron would address her people until her death in 1952. It’s a great way to kickstart your Buenos Aires trip.
Day 2 – Buenos Aires local tour
Today, you’ll meet a real Porteño who’ll show you around this colourful city. You’ll visit some of their favourite spots as well as the more famous places of interest, giving you an inside glimpse into the city. Wander through the park together, people-watch from a side street café and take the local transport. Around lunchtime, your guide will drop you off at his favourite restaurant, where you’ll say goodbye.
The rest of the day is free for your to discover Buenos Aires on your own. Wander through the tangle of little streets, listen to tango music drift from under the doorways, amble past shady plazas and grab a drink in the Café Tortoni, a popular haunt for poets, philosophers, intellectuals and celebrities. Whatever you choose to do, don’t forget to sit back and soak up the atmosphere with a glass of seriously good wine.
Day 3 – Departure from Buenos Aires
After breakfast this morning, your stay in Buenos Aires comes to an end. As the airport is quite far from the city, we’ll arrange for a transfer to take you there ready to continue your Argentina adventure.
